While many took the time to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on 9/11 that took the lives of nearly 3,000, Al Qaeda was busy celebrating and calling for more attacks.

In a half an hour-long broadcast, Ayman Al Zawahiri called for terrorists to attack the U.S., Israel, and Europe.

The recording was discovered Wednesday morning by Raphael Gluck who is the co-founder of JihadOScope, which is a company that monitors terrorist communications both online and offline.

According to Fox News,

The coordinated Al Qaeda hijackings on Sept. 11, 2001, claimed the lives of almost 3,000 people. Two civilian airliners struck both towers of the World Trade Center, another hit the Pentagon, and a fourth plane crashed in rural Pennsylvania after passengers overran the Al Qaeda hijackers.

Alongside ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, Zawahri is one of the two most wanted men in the world – both have a $25 million U.S. bounty on their heads.

Egyptian-born Zawahri, 67, took the reins as Al Qaeda’s leader after the Navy SEAL raid that killed the group’s long-running mastermind, Usama bin Laden, more than eight years ago.  He also comes with a long list of pseudonyms, including “The Doctor” and “The Teacher.”

Zawahiri mentions in the video,

“The interests of Israel and its American, British, French, Russian, and European allies are spread all over the world. So just as they conspire and join forces against us everywhere, we must chase them down everywhere – at a time and place of our choosing.”

Al-Zawahiri also noted that “18 years have passed since the blessed raids in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.”

“The Islamic Emirate dealt severe blows to America. This is why the Americans showed keenness to negotiate with them a withdrawal from Afghanistan,”
