What’s the strangest thing that you’ve seen happen to a politician live on air? There was the incident during the vice presidential debate when the fly landed on Mike Pence.

Joe Biden’s first time falling up the steps onto Air Force One is one that stands out as well.

Former President George W. Bush had shoes thrown at him one time. He also couldn’t find the unlocked door in a room to get out. He was definitely one of the most entertaining presidents that we’ve had.

There are surely several others that you can think of, but one that just recently happened to a Canadian politician is one worth remembering.

I’m not sure how I would feel about that. I’d be afraid that it would sting me from the inside and something would happen as a result, and I would die. I know that is unlikely, but goodness, it’s not a pleasant experience I’m sure.

But let me tell you a funny story about something very related.

I have a family member who actually swallowed a bee. He was out working in the yard and a bee was buzzing around. He ended up talking to someone while he was working and the bee flew into his mouth. I don’t know if it’s just a natural reaction to swallow when something like that happens, because I’ve never experienced it myself, but sure enough, he swallowed the bee.

You might be wondering to yourself, “What does a bee taste like?” Well, thankfully we know because he told me what it tasted like. Bees taste like bananas.

I found that extremely interesting and it seems to be supported by beekeepers. I was watching some videos about a beekeeper tending to his hives and the bees were getting very upset and he said that it was smelling like bananas near the hives.

I’m no expert on the matter so I don’t know why they smell and taste like bananas.
