Ilhan Omar has a record of not answering questions or not answering them directly. Rather she’ll often give a political answer and say everything but the true answer to the question.

This time she was asked a question about female genital mutilation and she snapped…on a fellow Muslim at that.

According to The Gateway Pundit,

“Should I make a schedule? Like, does this need to be on repeat every 5 minutes? Should I be like, ‘so, today I forgot to condemn Al-Qaeda, so here’s the Al-Qaeda one. Today I forgot to condemn FGM so here it goes. Today I forgot to condemn Hamas so here it goes.’ It is a very frustrating question that comes up. You can look up my record. I’ve voted for bills doing exactly what you are asking me to do,” Omar snapped at Zonneveld indignantly.

Rep. Omar added that she is “quite disgusted to be honest that as Muslim legislators, we are constantly being asked to waste our time speaking to issues that other people are not asked to speak to because the assumption exists that we somehow support [it].” Again, she was asked the question by a fellow Muslim at a conference about being Muslim.

Here’s the thing, no she doesn’t need to be on repeat every 5 minutes, she just needs to answer the questions!

Every time she’s asked a question about something important, she just doesn’t answer it.

There’s a reason that she’s being asked whether or not she condemns Al Qaeda. It’s because she has made remarks in the past that makes it seem that she supports them. She even associates herself with terrorist groups.

But as far as FGM goes, this isn’t just an issue in other countries. It is actually a problem inside the United States as well. According to the CDC, over 500,000 women and girls have been subjected to this heinous act.

It’s a no brainer, Omar, just say you condemn it and quit beating around this bush with everything because it’s honestly not helping you look any better to Americans.
