What Ilhan Omar Said About 9/11 Will Have You Fuming Mad
I sware, something like this comes up practically every single day with this woman.
Representative Ilhan Omar just made it sound like what happened on 9/11 wasn’t really a big deal.
The Daily Caller reports,
Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar described the September 11, 2001, terror attacks on the United States in a nonspecific way during a recent speech to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Omar delivered the keynote speech at a fundraiser for CAIR in late March and urged Muslim Americans to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable.” In one part of her speech that surfaced on Twitter this week, Omar described the 9/11 attacks in a peculiar way.
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.
Really? Some people did something?
How about some radical yet faithful to their religious book Muslims decided to murder thousands of people by crashing airplanes into the two tallest buildings in the busiest city in the country?
According to The Daily Wire,
Omar was met by hundreds of protesters when she attended the March event in Los Angeles, who expressed strong disapproval of her use of anti-Semitic tropes and promotion of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
Omar responded to the “very interesting” pro-Israel demonstrators by saying: “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”
Here are some responses that Omar got for her insulting speech:
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX): “First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something’. Unbelievable.”

Allie Beth Stuckey: “This is FAR WORSE than any misconstrued and decontextualized comments Candace has made, and yet will receive a polite nod and a golf clap from leftists.”

Paul Sacca: “‘Some people did something’ sounds like a bake sale, but it does not really sound like a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 people and altered the NYC skyline forever…”

I just don’t get it. How is she getting by with the things she says and the things that she does?
The deadliest attack on America of our time is just “some people did something”.
