Pelosi and Ocasio-Cortez Are Attacking Their Own Side Of The Aisle
Time and time again, Democrats attack each other and they reason is simple, they can’t agree with one another.
Plus, liberals are so triggered and offended by everything in the world, that the moment they find an opportunity to get offended they go on the attack. Frankly, I’m surprised they’re not saying nighttime is racist because it’s black.
This week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on the attack against other congressional Democrats for siding with Republicans on some bills.
According to Politico,
House Democrats held an emotional debate behind closed doors Thursday over how to stop losing embarrassing procedural battles with Republicans — a clash that exposed the divide between moderates and progressives.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took a hard line at the caucus meeting, saying that being a member of Congress sometimes requires taking tough votes.
“This is not a day at the beach. This is the Congress of the United States,” Pelosi said, according to two sources.
Pelosi also said vulnerable Democrats who had the “courage” to vote against the Republican motions to recommit would become a higher priority for the party leadership and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
And Nancy wasn’t the only one making threats, AOC got in on the action.
The Blaze reported that Ocasio-Cortez,
…threatened to sic her progressive activist supporters on Democrats who were less than completely loyal.
Republicans mocked Democrats for the internecine battle. Michael McAdams of the National Republican Congressional Committee ridiculed the party over the report.
“Buckle up and grab your popcorn because Democratic infighting is already reaching a breaking point and it’s only month two of Democrats’ House majority,” McAdams said in a statement.
“Just wait until the intraparty primaries begin!” he concluded.
And I agree with McAdams. There is a huge shake-up coming to the Democratic Party, maybe even a split.
It has become abundantly apparent that more and more Democrats are shifting to the far left, while some are much more centered. So much so that I think this is going to cause a complete division among the party.
