In an awesome stand against the political correctness and a crybaby population, a Kentucky radio station decided to do something a little different.

They decided to make their position on the controversy known and they did just that…by playing the song on repeat for two straight hours on Sunday.

Fox News reported,

The Christmas classic made headlines earlier this season when an Ohio radio station removed the holiday hit from its lineup in November after a listener expressed concerns on the lyrics, reigniting an old debate across the country.

Other radio stations reevaluated the song after WDOK Christmas 102.1 took it off the air, but WAKY in Elizabethtown didn’t even briefly consider pulling it. Instead, the station decided to embrace the 1944 song, written by Frank Loesser, and some of the other versions that followed.

“I’m not sure why it’s controversial,” Joe Fredele, director of programming for WAKY, told WLKY. “We’ve played this song for years, you know, this song is older than WAKY is. It’s almost 70 years old.”

And you know what, Joe? We don’t know either.

In fact, let’s take a look at some of the top songs of 2018 that everyone loves and has no problem with that are much worse.

Ok, so he’s using a racial slur and sexually assaulting a woman, but everyone loves the song. The song even went viral because of the whole “Kiki challenge.”

Hoes talk down, you don’t see ’em outside”

Why is he calling any woman a ho? I bet if Dean Martin “Ho, it’s cold outside, bring that a** back” people would EXPLODE!

This just goes to show that there is a clear double standard in society.
