Luntz Gives Comments On Midwest Report
Frank Luntz, the renowned political analyst, recently raised an alarm for Democrats.
Luntz warned that the traditional Democratic stronghold of Minnesota could be up for grabs.
Luntz provided insight, “The focal point isn’t that Donald Trump is leading in Iowa. It’s that he’s edging closer in Minnesota. Minnesota is typically a solid Democratic state. It has always voted Democrat in past presidential campaigns. But what I notice in each poll is that Trump is just two or three points behind in Minnesota.”
Traditionally, Minnesota has been a stronghold for Democratic candidates, consistently voting blue in presidential elections. But the data gathered by Luntz indicates Trump is close behind. This could be a cause for worry for Democrats who regarded Minnesota as a guaranteed win in their electoral strategy.
Luntz further comments, “I don’t believe the media is fully understanding the current situation. Yes, Trump’s ratings fell a few points after he was convicted on 34 felony charges. But let’s not forget, such a scenario would have destroyed any candidate’s chances just a decade ago. Nevertheless, Trump is either on par with, or in some instances leading Joe Biden, even after his conviction of 34 felonies. That’s noteworthy.”
As Biden continues to be in his perpetual state of confusion Trump’s appeal grows.
Luntz introduces another perspective. “I’m keeping a close eye on the independent voters. I don’t believe they’re fluctuating between Trump and Biden. I’m of the view they’ve decided they dislike both candidates, both parties. They’re voting out of anger, desperation, resentment,” he warns. “So be very cautious about how you interpret events from now, through the debates, and the election. We might see a surprise ‘anger vote’ on election day.”
This “hidden anger vote” could influence the upcoming election significantly. Independent voters, dissatisfied with both major parties, might cast their votes out of frustration, possibly altering the anticipated results in crucial states, such as Minnesota.
The “hidden anger” may be coming from the fact that Biden for months said the economy is fine and that Americans don’t understand enough to know that it’s good. As of late he’s backed off that claim only to insert the same sediments into the border discussion.
Biden recently said following a report that most Americans approved of mass deportation, “we have to acknowledge that the patience and goodwill of the American people is being tested by their fears at the border. They don’t understand a lot of it. These are the fears my predecessor is trying to play on when he says immigrants — immigrants, in his words, are ‘poisoning the blood of the country’; when he calls immigrants, in his words, ‘animals.'”
Once again, despite the public furious about the border Biden claims that we aren’t smart enough to understand what’s going on.
