Kamala Harris Gives Daytime Show Interview
During the era of the Trump administration, it was hard for me to keep up with the numerous jokes made about former President Trump from the opposition.
However, this is a part of politics – if you’re in the public eye, criticism and ridicule are often part of the package.
Interestingly, Vice President Kamala Harris is not a fan of this kind of banter and has reacted to people who mock her “distinctive” kackle…er…I mean laugh.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently made an appearance on “Drew,” a daytime TV show hosted by actress Drew Barrymore and whined about it.
“You were asking me earlier about what it means to be, like, the first woman. And, you know, it’s funny, because people still got to get used to this, right?” Harris said of being the first female vice president. “I mean, my staff, for example, sometimes they’ll show me little things that just amuse me. Like, apparently, some people love to talk about the way I laugh.”
“Oh yes! I love your laugh,” Barrymore responded.
“Well Let me tell you something: I have my mother’s laugh. And I grew up around a bunch of women in particular who laughed from the belly,” Harris said. “And I think it’s really important for us to remind each other and our younger ones, don’t be confined to other people’s perception about what this looks like, and how you should act in order to be right?”

Not only does VP Harris like to cackle she really, really, loves Venn diagrams.
It’s due tonight at 9 PM. My students are completing their Research Inquiry projects for #COM250 Digital and Media Literacy. @universityofri students create an Annotated Bibiography, a Video Summary, a Reflection– and a Venn Diagram as @VP recommends https://t.co/iG1e5MdI7m
