Kamala Harris Makes ‘Horrible’ Wrong Statement
Kamala Harris ignited a firestorm of criticism with her recent comments on women’s basketball, alleging that brackets for women’s college basketball weren’t permitted until 2022. However, her assertion, suggesting a lack of progress until recent times, was swiftly debunked by sports enthusiasts.
Harris claimed during the interview: “Do you know, a bit of a history lesson, that the women’s teams were not allowed to have brackets until 2022… Think about that. Talk about progress, better late than never. Because what that has done, how we love March Madness, and even just now allowing the women to have brackets and what that does to encourage people to talk about the women’s teams, to watch them, and now they’re being covered.”
“This is – you guessed it – completely false. The first NCAA Women’s Tournament took place in 1982 where 32 teams were seeded and put into a bracket just like we see the 68-team field bracketed today. Harris was 17-years-old when the first NCAA women’s tournament bracket was put together. One would imagine she would remember such a big day in women’s sports, but then again, she didn’t need the talking point back then as a teenager.”
Thank you to Mark Harris from Outkick for correcting the vice president. The 2024 election needs to end this circus administration and get the country back on track. I don’t need my president or vice president to know anything about sports, but if they have no idea what they’re talking about, then don’t say anything about it at all. We need someone with more common sense in office and Joe Biden’s failed regime certainly hasn’t helped anyone in the last four years.
