Megyn Kelly SHREDS Don Lemon In Hilarious Segment
Things are not going well for Don Lemon. During a SiriusXM show on Thursday, Megyn Kelly, along with The Fifth Column podcast, unleashed a wave of criticism at the expense of Lemon’s foray into his new show that was quickly canned by X, formerly Twitter.
In a recent SiriusXM show, Megyn Kelly, accompanied by The Fifth Column podcast, launched a scorching critique aimed squarely at Don Lemon’s ill-fated venture into a new show, swiftly axed by X, formerly Twitter.
The hosts wasted no time diving into Lemon’s missteps, from his questionable interviewing skills to his outlandish demands from Elon Musk. Kelly minced no words, stating, “He wanted half the company, he wanted to do podcasts in space,” before adding, “That’s exactly the opposite of what you do.”
Lemon’s woes didn’t stop there. Despite a promising start with 2 million impressions on the premiere episode of “The Don Lemon Show,” subsequent episodes nosedived, garnering less than 70,000 impressions. Lemon attempted to deflect blame, insinuating that Musk’s discomfort during their interview was due to Lemon being a “gay black guy.”
Kelly and her cohorts didn’t hold back on Lemon’s understanding of free speech, lambasting his hypocrisy in criticizing others while stumbling over his own controversies. “You’re off on a new foot with your employer,” Kelly remarked, “Nobody in history has asked to be the first person in space and for full editorial control over any news decisions made.”
Throughout the segment, the overarching theme was Lemon’s failure to adapt to the demands of a new platform like X, coupled with his grandiose demands and misjudgments. As Kelly succinctly put it, “You don’t want to make yourself look like an asshole.”
