If you thought the political merry-go-round was slowing down, think again. Former President Donald Trump has just predicted that President Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in 2024. During a Fox News town hall in Iowa, Trump shared his thoughts on the matter. Sean Hannity, the host, mentioned that Biden is “struggling cognitively” and asked Trump if he believes Biden will be the candidate for the Democrats in the next election. Trump replied, “I personally don’t think he makes it, OK? I haven’t said that. I’m saving it for this big town hall. I’ve never really said that. I personally don’t think he makes it.”

Now, there’s no denying that Biden has had his fair share of gaffes. Losing his train of thought, tripping or falling over – these incidents have raised eyebrows, even among Democrats. But despite all this, Biden, like Trump, is running as his party’s clear frontrunner.

Trump didn’t stop at questioning Biden’s cognitive abilities. He also commented on Biden’s physical health, stating, “I think he’s in bad shape physically,” and adding later, “mentally I would say he is possibly equally as bad, and maybe even worse.”

Trump’s comments come after Biden told donors that he was “not sure” he would be running for re-election in 2024 if Trump was not also seeking a second term. To this, Trump responded, “Well, I think somebody gave him a talking point. They thought that would sound good.”

The former president also made headlines by saying he would be a “dictator” on “day one” of his second term to crack down on border security and ramp up drilling for fossil fuels. “After that, I’m not a dictator,” Trump added.

Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chavez Rodriguez, responded by saying, “Donald Trump has been telling us exactly what he will do if he’s reelected and tonight he said he will be a dictator on day one. Americans should believe him.”
