Chicago Mayor Blames City’s Migrant Crisis On ‘Right-Wing Extremism’
Well, folks, you can’t make this stuff up. In the latest episode of “Politicians Say the Darndest Things,” we find ourselves in the Windy City, where Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has decided to pin his city’s migrant crisis on…wait for it…right-wing extremism. Yeah, you read that right.
Now, I’m not sure what kind of world Mayor Johnson is living in, but last time I checked, Chicago hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1927. That’s nearly a century, for those keeping score at home. Yet, according to Johnson, it’s the right-wingers who are causing all the trouble.
Johnson let loose this gem of a theory at a press conference on Tuesday, where he announced the city’s new Unity Initiative. The plan? To work with religious groups to move migrants from police stations into churches and shelters. But when asked if there should be limits on the number of migrants coming into Chicago, Johnson went off on a tangent that would be hilarious if it weren’t so concerning.
“You know, what we’ve seen is a very raggedy form instituted by right-wing extremism,” Johnson said. “Everyone knows that the right-wing extremism in this country has targeted democratically ran cities.” He even went as far as to claim that right-wing extremists have been “very intentional about going after democratically ran cities that are led by people of color.”
JUST IN: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson lashes out and blames "right wing extremists" for Chicago's problems and says Republicans are mad that black people are free.
The left always blames others for the problems they create.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m having a hard time following Johnson’s logic here. Are we to believe that right-wing extremists have some sort of time machine that they’ve used to travel back to 1927 and install themselves as puppeteers of Chicago’s politics?
And let’s not forget that in 2020, about 82% of the Chicago vote went to President Biden. So, does that mean these right-wing extremists are also incredibly bad at their supposed job of controlling the city?
Johnson, who was a far-left activist before becoming mayor, seems to be playing a game of political pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. Instead of addressing the real issues at hand – crime, homelessness, and yes, the migrant crisis – he’s decided to create a boogeyman to shift the blame.
It’s a classic political move: when you can’t solve the problems, find someone else to blame. But here’s a thought, Mayor Johnson: maybe it’s time to stop pointing fingers and start finding solutions. After all, isn’t that what you were elected to do?
But hey, what do I know? I’m just a right-wing extremist with a penchant for logical thinking.
