Israel Sends Chilling Warning to Iran if They Join War
Israel has issued a bone-chilling warning to Iran: if Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group, joins the ongoing conflict with Hamas, they will face devastating consequences. The ominous message was delivered by Nir Barkat, Israel’s Minister of Economy, who stated that not only would Israel “eliminate Hezbollah”, but they would “actually target Iran” and “wipe them out.”
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been relentlessly pounding northern Gaza with precision airstrikes, targeting terrorist infrastructure after Palestinian terrorists with Hamas murdered more than 1,400 Israelis two weeks ago. As Israel braces for a ground offensive against Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, there is increasing fear that Hezbollah could escalate the situation by attacking Israel from the north.
Speaking with The Mail on Sunday, Barkat warned Iran that Israel would strike back decisively if Hezbollah enters the war. He stated, “The plan of Iran is to attack Israel on all fronts. If we find they intend to target Israel, we will not just retaliate to those fronts, but we will go to the head of the snake, which is Iran.”
Barkat also had a stark warning for the Ayatollahs in Iran. He said, “The Ayatollahs in Iran are not going to sleep good at night, we are going to make sure they pay a heavy price if, God forbid, they open the northern front.”
Hezbollah and Lebanon will pay “a heavy price” if they dare join the war, “similar to what Hamas is going to pay,” warned Barkat. But he made it clear that this wouldn’t be enough. “The very clear message is that we are going to be going after the heads of Iran as well. When will we do that? When we decide,” he added.
Israel has sent a clear message to its enemies, according to Barkat, stating, “We are saying to them, look what’s happening in Gaza – you are going to get the same treatment if you attack us. We are going to wipe you off the face of the Earth.”
This warning comes as Israel continues to defend itself against relentless attacks from Hamas, with the situation potentially escalating if Hezbollah decides to join the fray. While the international community watches with bated breath, one thing is clear: Israel will not back down and is prepared to take on any threat to its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
