After several weeks of circulating conspiracy theories and being the subject of satirical memes, the viral sensation known as the “crazy plane lady” has finally broken her silence, speaking out for the very first time.

Back in July, the internet was set ablaze when a video surfaced capturing a woman in the midst of an intense meltdown on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Orlando. The incident gained widespread attention as the woman passionately expressed her distress over an alleged imaginary person aboard the plane.

This bizarre and captivating event quickly captured the curiosity of online communities, sparking intense debate and speculation about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s outburst. As the video continued to make its rounds across social media platforms, it became a symbol of the unpredictable nature of viral phenomena and the power of the internet to amplify and immortalize even the most obscure moments.

“I’m telling you, I’m getting the f**k off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f**k off, and everyone can either believe it or they cannot believe it,” she said.

“That motherf-r back there is not real,” she exclaimed. “You can sit on this plane, and you can d*e with them or not. I’m not going to.”

The flight got delayed because they let the woman leave before takeoff. People were speculating for weeks about who she was and even came up with conspiracy theories that she vanished after uncovering some shady government plot. Well, it turns out she’s actually Tiffany Gomas, a 38-year-old marketing executive from Texas. She posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) apologizing for the whole incident.

“First and foremost, I want to take full accountability for my actions,” Gomas said. “They were completely unacceptable. Distressed or not … I should have been in control of my emotions. And that was not the case.”

Gomas extended her sincere apologies to the passengers on the plane, expressing regret for her use of “completely unnecessary” profanity. Recognizing the impact of her words, she conveyed her deep remorse and vowed to learn from this experience, striving to choose her words more thoughtfully in the future.

“We all have our bad moments, some far worse than others. And mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times,” she said.

Reflecting on her unexpected rise to virality, Gomas shared that she found a few of the responses quite amusing. Graciously, she expressed her heartfelt appreciation to her cherished friends and loving family for their unwavering support throughout this exhilarating journey.

“It has been really comical for everyone, and I have highly enjoyed so many of the memes,” she said. “On the flip side, it is very invasive and unkind, and I don’t know what I would do without the love and support of my friends and family.”

“I hope that I can use this experience and do a little bit of good in the world, and that is what I intend to do,” Gomas concluded. “I hope that you guys can accept my apology and I can begin to move on with my life.”
