During a press conference on Thursday, a reporter asked President Joe Biden about the bribery scheme involving him and his son Hunter, during his time as vice president in the Obama administration. Biden snapped at the reporter in response to the question. It’s been reported that an FBI confidential human source claimed that the Bidens were paid up to $5 million each in bribe money from an executive at the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

“Why did the Ukraine FBI informant file refer to you as the ‘Big Guy,’ President Biden?” New York Post reporter Steven Nelson asked Biden. “Why is that term continuously applied?”

Biden fired back: “Why do you ask such a dumb question?”

According to a report by Fox News, the FBI confidential human source was interviewed in June 2020 and the allegation was recorded in an FD-1023 form. The FBI has consistently reviewed the credibility of this confidential source and has found them to be highly credible.

According to reports, a businessman who wishes to remain anonymous had several meetings and conversations with a Burisma executive about obtaining oil rights in the U.S. and establishing connections with a U.S. oil company while Joe Biden was still serving as vice president. The executive supposedly implied that Hunter Biden, who was a board member at the time, was not very knowledgeable, which is why he sought advice elsewhere.

According to the report, a confidential source informed the FBI that an executive claimed their company needed to pay the Biden family because they were under investigation by Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin. The executive also believed this investigation could make it difficult for their company to enter the US market.

According to the confidential source, an executive said that he would pay $5 million for one Biden and another $5 million for the other Biden. The executive also claimed to have used multiple bank accounts to pay the Bidens in a way that would be difficult for prosecutors to trace. Back in 2016, while he was still vice president, Biden allegedly used his political position to pressure Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko into replacing Shokin by using the threat of withholding $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden recalled telling Poroshenko. “Well, son of a b****, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”
