Well, it’s now official. Ron DeSantis has officially filed his paperwork and announced his intentions on running for president against Donald Trump in 2024. Yes, there are others in the race, but honestly, nobody is going to overcome these two guys. This is a two man show and unless something legally prohibits President Trump from running in the next election, he will be the candidate as well.

DeSantis made his announcement during a live-streamed Twitter event. There are many who are glad that he’s running, but there are others who are not so thrilled. Those who are not as enthused about his announcement are those who just elected him for Governor last year. They believe that he should focus on the job that they just elected him to do instead of trying to get another one.

As you would also expect him to do, President Trump spoke out about DeSantis’ announcement, but they weren’t exactly the most kind words. They weren’t the worst either, but it’s been clear for some time that Trump has already been on the attack against DeSantis because that’s what it takes to win. Trump is a winner and he knows how to get the nomination and win the election.

“I’d like to personally congratulate ‘Rob’ DeSanctimonious on finally announcing that he will be entering the race for President of the United States,” Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social. “Hopefully he will get the full experience of being attacked by the Marxists, Communists, and Radical Left Lunatics of our Country, without which he will never know the kind of job he is doing. These Lowlifes & Misfits are far worse than the leaders of hostile foreign countries. They must be soundly defeated in order to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump has won twice already, and he can do it one more time!
