Woke Pastor Explains Why Drag Queens are Holy
Holy drag Batman! Reverend Dr. Caleb J. Lines, a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ, and who works at University Christian Church in San Diego, California, is trying to deceive the body of Christ. Despite being a preacher, he uses his platform to act as a Left-wing political activist and promote his own political agenda instead of the biblical doctrines of Christianity.
In a video, Reverend Dr. Lines attempted to connect a metaphor used by Jesus to dressing in drag, which have absolutely nothing to do with each another. He stated that “Jesus called himself a mother hen longing to gather up her chicks” and then asserted that “gender is a construct” and thus anyone can dress in drag since Jesus was able to portray himself as a different gender.
He then bizarrely concluded that “Jesus was, and humanity is, God in drag” – something which does not appear anywhere within the Bible but which Reverend Dr. Lines claims is widely accepted amongst progressive Christians. In this same speech he also proclaimed that “Drag is holy” despite there being little or no biblical support for this viewpoint either.
During what Reverend Dr. Lines referred to as “Pride Sunday” he went even further – claiming that God is gay, lesbian, transgender, gender non-binary and “differently-abled mental and physically”. Furthermore, he preaches about other political topics such as gun control laws and demands that people should call out politicians who are not taking action on certain issues – once again using his pulpit as a platform for activism instead of preaching scripture.

I’m here to tell you that drag is not holy. Drag is an abomination. It’s not even the mere idea that they’re dressing up as women, it’s what they’re conveying. It’s their intent behind it. It’s the whole concept itself, not the mere putting on of clothing or makeup. Those things in themselves are not intrinsically bad, even if a man does it. Many men put on some foundation when they work on television in order to prevent shiny skin. This isn’t wicked. But what the men who dress up like clowns and call it drag are doing is indeed an abomination. I’d say do it at your own homes, but honestly, I don’t even want them doing that.
