Trump Plays Dirty to Stop DeSantis
President Trump is very serious about getting back in the White House and know exactly how to do it. At a campaign rally in Texas over the weekend, former President Donald Trump launched an attack against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming that he “wasn’t good on crime” and mocking him with nicknames. Trump’s guests at the rally also joined in on attacking DeSantis, with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Mike Lindell calling him a “Trojan horse” and demanding that he endorse Trump publicly.
Now, according to a report from RealClearPolitics, Trump has reportedly decided to blacklist anyone who works for DeSantis – whether it be to promote his new #1 bestselling book or to work on a potential presidential campaign. A source close to Trump told the publication: “It’s a time for choosing. If you work for Ron DeSantis’ presidential race, you will not work for the Trump campaign or in the Trump White House.” This type of loyalty test could extend to those who are part of the national Republican Party if Trump wins back the presidency again.
A prominent conservative grassroots organizer warned against this move by saying: “It’s the American people who will ultimately decide who is the next president and many grassroots see through these desperate pleas for allegiance and instead wish there was a substantive debate about the future of our great country.”

Despite this warning and an analysis from Fox News that showed that Trump attacked DeSantis four times more than Biden, a former senior administration official said they don’t believe this is a serious effort—they think it’s an attempt by Trump to kill any momentum that DeSantis has going into a potential presidential run. The official said: “This is just being done now to try to kill the momentum that DeSantis has – this doesn’t jive with his past behavior.”
