What a sick freaking woman Joy Behar is! This woman is absolutely disgusting! She is literally blaming the residents of the town for the train wreck and chemical spillage.

On Thursday, Joy Behar suggested that the residents of East Palestine were reaping what they sowed when it came to the disastrous train derailment nearly three weeks earlier. The accident had involved a number of cars that were carrying toxic materials, which caused residents to worry about chemicals seeping into the ground and resulting fumes potentially polluting the air and water supply for months or years to come.

Behar declared on ABC’s “The View” that this unfortunate consequence was likely due to the fact that this district had overwhelmingly voted for President Trump in the past election cycle and that Trump favored deregulation across most industries and this unfortunate event could be seen as a natural result of their own choices.

Co-host Sunny Hostin began by praising Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for not attending East Palestine until almost three weeks after the train derailed for some reason. She believed he was doing “the work” instead of looking for a photo op…except that he wasn’t. She then went on to criticize former President Trump for visiting East Palestine a day ahead of Buttigieg with trucks full of supplies and clean drinking water in tow, inferring he was only there for show, similar to when he threw paper towels at people in Puerto Rico during his term. Host Sara Haines disagreed, saying it shouldn’t matter who brought in aid if people needed it.

Behar then moved on to chastise Republicans, claiming airlines were only safe because of government regulation and safety standards — otherwise, “we’re all going to go up in flames.” Alyssa Farah Griffin, Republican host of The View, noted Norfolk Southern had been lobbying both Democrats and Republicans for looser regulations as well as donating significant funds towards Joe Biden’s campaign — an argument Behar refused to acknowledge. She firmly maintained her stance by pointing at the camera while declaring: “That’s who you voted for… Donald Trump [who] reduces all safety…. He did in those days.”
