AOC Claims Gas Stoves Give You Brain Damage, Gets Burned on Twitter with Incriminating Photo
During an interview this week, US Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. announced that gas stove usage was a “hidden hazard” and the Biden administration was considering implementing a ban on them. In response, former White House doctor and current Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson tweeted his disapproval of such a move, claiming he would “…NEVER give up my gas stove. If the maniacs in the White House come for my stove, they can pry it from my cold dead hands. COME AND TAKE IT!!”.

Trumka emphasized the need to regulate or possibly ban gas stoves due to their contribution to indoor pollution. He added that there are already viable options accessible in the market which could serve as suitable alternatives to gas stoves. Socialist representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez then replied to Jackson’s tweet, claiming that “ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance.”
Jackson then responded by accusing Ocasio-Cortez of having a self-diagnosis, implying that her own decreased cognitive function was not caused by her use of a gas stove. He also suggested that if this was indeed the case, then the first place they should ban them is at the White House – so Biden could avoid losing any more cognitive abilities because he “needs all the help he can get”.
Ronny Jackson lit her up on Twitter though:
If that’s the case, the FIRST place they should ban gas stoves is at the White House! Biden can’t afford to lose ANY more of his cognitive abilities – he needs all the help he can get!! https://t.co/A3hKo3dyZW

.@aoc says gas stoves cause “reduced cognitive performance” – yet she uses a gas stove? Is this a self diagnosis? AOC, as a medical doctor, I can tell you this: what’s wrong with your head IS NOT caused by stoves. Something WAY BIGGER is causing your decreased cognitive function! pic.twitter.com/yYF90wXiGu

Oh and I forgot, “Doctor” Jill Biden uses a gas stove too!!

The proposed ban on gas stoves has sparked heated debate on social media as users argue both for and against it. Supporters claim that banning them could potentially reduce indoor air pollution levels and protect people from harmful toxins emitted by these appliances during their use – thus improving public health overall.
On the other hand, those against it point out how essential these devices are for many households. From cooking meals for families to keeping warm during winter months without breaking the bank on electricity bills, therefore making them invaluable tools for everyday life.
To me, it just looks like another example of the nanny state trying to tell us what to do when all we really need is for them to get lost and leave us alone to live our own lives how we see it.
