Two males entered a smoke shop owner’s business in Las Vegas wearing full masks. When the second man leaped over the counter, the owner asked to take the change from the jar after one of them snatched a jar containing the day’s tips.

With a knife he kept next to the cash register, Johnny Nguyen, the owner, was prepared. He has been robbed recently and he was tired of it and prepared to defend himself and his property this time. Nguyen ended up stabbing one of the individuals after he jumped behind the counter to try and steal from him.

In the video, you can hear the thug who was getting stabbed start screaming, “I’m dead. I’m dead.” I believe that he really thought that he was going to die. I don’t know if he did or not, but I’m sure he’s regretting his decision to rob the place either way.

I’m not really sure how this one is going to turn out. While I do think that people have the right to defend themselves, I’m not sure they have the right to do it in this manner.

According to The Blaze,

“I honestly don’t recall what I was thinking,” Nguyen told KSNV. “I assumed they had guns on them.”

Nguyen revealed that he plans to purchase a gun for the store in the event that his store is robbed again.

“I don’t know who they’re friends with, maybe they want to come back and do something else, so I just must stay vigilant,” Nguyen said.

Nguyen told KLAS-TV, “I don’t think he planned on getting stabbed that day obviously, but if you try robbing a store you are taking a risk. This is a small business obviously.”

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they had arrested two juveniles involved in the attempted robbery of the Smokestrom Smoke Shop in Las Vegas.

The would-be robber was taken to a local hospital after the foiled robbery attempt. Authorities did not reveal the health of the would-be thief who was stabbed.

In the back of my mind, I honestly think that they deserved what they got. When you engage in a crime such as this, all bets are off the table. The owner has the right to defend his property from violent attackers. Maybe they did have guns, if they didn’t, they’re stupid for trying this.

And all of this was just for a few dollars worth of vaping stuff. These idiots are weeding themselves out. They are committing crimes and getting themselves killed or locked up in prison because they’re stupid. It’s stupid to do stuff like this in the first place, but the way that they go about it is even worse.
