Guess Who Just Offered to Help Russia Defeat Ukraine in Exchange for Food
The war is still ongoing in Ukraine as Russia continues to push their way through the country. Like it or not, they’re winning the war.
Now, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has offered to help bolster the Russian invasion by sending in 100,000 “volunteer” soldiers to fight alongside of Russian soldiers. This wouldn’t be for free though. Kim Jong Un wants some food in return. They must be starving there big time.
This is very strange, but at the same time, I can understand why he’s doing it. North Korea is a hell-hole and I’m sure they are losing thousands of people by the day. People are dying of starvation and have been for quite some time already. Now, throw on top of that the fact that food is harder to come by in some areas, especially some of the basics.
This is especially true for North Korea who doesn’t have a lot of trading partners to begin with. Kim Jong Un would be more than happy to sacrifice 100,000 in order to get some food. They’d likely just die anyway.
“If North Korean volunteers with their artillery systems, wealth of experience with counter-battery warfare and large caliber multiple launch rocket systems, made in North Korea, want to participate in the conflict, well let’s give the green light to their volunteer impulse,” Igor Korotchenko said. “If North Korea expresses a desire to meet its international duty to fight against Ukrainian fascism, we should let them. It was the ‘sovereign right of the DPR and LPR to sign the relevant agreements.”
He also said that they would be willing to help repair war damage.
North Korea, believe it or not, has one of the largest armies in the world in terms of manpower with nearly 2 million soldiers. They reportedly have more soldiers than Russia, in fact.
What would be crazy though is if many of them defected and fled the area. This would be their opportunity to get out of the country. But I’d be willing to bet that they wouldn’t if they have family. In fact, I would imagine that they would only send men who had families in order to make sure that they come back. North Korea would likely kill the families of those people who didn’t come back. Knowing that, there may not be many defectors.
