Here are 27 Democrats Who Voted NOT to Protect Supreme Court Justices
Finally, the House of Representatives passed legislation to bolster the security of Supreme Court Justices after the apparent leak of an opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, as well as an assassination attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
At first, Democrats in the House rejected any such legislation with Nancy Pelosi saying that they are already protected. If that’s the case, then why did she just vote yes on this recent bill?
The Supreme Court safety legislation, which passed the House in a 396 to 27 vote, now heads to the desk of President Joe Biden.
All 27 votes against the bill were from Democrats: Joyce Beatty of Ohio, Jamaal Bowman 0f New York, Cori Bush of Missouri, Veronica Escobar of Texas, Adriano Espaillat of New York, Chuy Garcia of Illinois, Sylvia Garcia of Texas, Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey, Raúl Grijalva of Arizona, Steven Horsford of Nevada, Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Brenda Lawrence of Michigan, and Barbara Lee of California.
In addition, Tom Malinowski of New Jersey, Marie Newman of Illinois, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Bill Pascrell of New Jersey, Donald Payne of New Jersey, Ed Perlmutter of Colorado, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Mike Sherrill of New Jersey, Albio Sires of New Jersey, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Norma Torres of California, Nydia Velazquez of New York, Maxine Waters of California, and Bonnie Watson Coleman of New Jersey voted against the bill protecting the Supreme Court justices and their families.
Ok, let’s take a close look at this list to see what sort of people voted against making sure that our Supreme Court Justices get the safety that they deserve.
AOC, Cori Bush, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Maxine Waters are all among those who voted against the legislation. These just so happen to be some of the most immoral and radical leftist House Representatives that there are. They want to expand the Supreme Court, but what would be easier for them is if they only had to replace some Justices. They just don’t seem to care about respecting our laws.
I’ll guarantee you that if this were an opinion that was expected to make permanent abortion or universal basic income, these people would be up in arms and demanding that the Justices be protected from “radical right wing conspiracy theorists” or something.
