Justin Trudeau Claims Guns for Self Defense “Is Not a Right That You Have”
If you didn’t know it already, Canada has quickly become one of the most tyrannical countries in the world.
It’s hard to imagine. I remember the days when people used to say that if things got too bad here that they would just move to Canada. Well, I wouldn’t dare say that today, because they are among the worst of the major countries when it comes to freedom.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just made a statement this past week that tell you exactly what you need to know about your rights in Canada.
Trudeau said,
“There are debates, and we have a culture where the difference is. Guns can be used for hunting or for sport shooting in Canada – and there are lots of gun owners, and they’re mostly law-respecting and law-abiding – but you can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. That’s not a right that you have in the Constitution or anywhere else.
If you try and buy a gun and say it’s for self-protection – No, you don’t get that.”
He then continued to claim that this wasn’t in response to the shooting in Texas:
“There’s this sense that Canada responded to the shooting in Texas by suddenly turning around and banning guns. Lovely if it were true, but we’ve been working on this for seven years… We’ve had a lot of setbacks, but since we got elected seven years ago, we’ve been steadily working on strengthening gun control.”
Two years ago, we banned all military style assault weapons … and just a few weeks ago … we moved forward on a total freeze on handguns.
We will eventually get it passed, and then it’ll be illegal to buy, sell, transfer, import, handguns anywhere in the country.”
So, in Canada, you do not have the right to protect yourself with a gun. If that person is stronger than you and you don’t have the physical ability to stop them from robbing you or harming you, oh well, sucks to be you. Nothing you can do about it but go broke or die. Survival of the fittest, right?
What’s the first thing that a tyrant does if he wants to rule the nation with an iron rod? You first disarm the citizens of that country so as to not give them the ability to resist.
