Back in 1887, the Electoral Count Act is a federal law that outlines the procedures in counting the electoral votes during a presidential election cycle.

This Act came about after there was a dispute in which several states had submitted competing slates of electors which led to Congress being unable to decide for weeks what set to choose.

As you are well aware, some states sent competing slates of electors following the last presidential election, but Mike Pence did not choose those sets that were not certified by the state.

Now, Senators have been working to help determine what to do the next time this occurs. The bad part is, it only favors Democrats and the RINOs are there to support it to make it law.

The new rules propose that it would require 20% of Congress, the House and Senate, to challenge the results from any one state.

So, I’m not exactly sure how I feel about this. It takes 20% of Congress to approve challenging a state’s electoral votes. That’s a lot of people required to challenge the results of a state’s election. And honestly, I don’t think that you would ever get that if it’s anything like what happened in the last election.

However, I could definitely see that being a possibility if the shoe was one the other foot because Democrats are idiots. Back when President Trump won the first time in 2016, there were Democrats that challenged several states, including Alabama! Get that? Alabama is one of the reddest states in the country, and they challenged the results.

So, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Nancy Pelosi snapped her fingers and demanded that every Democrat challenge the results of an election if the next time a Republican wins.

We’re losing the country one day at a time.
