Joe Biden’s out of control gas prices are horrible and they’re only getting worse. But these out of control prices may have a far more negative effect than anyone expected.

Where I live, gas prices are still hovering just under $5/gallon but there are many places across the country that have gas prices that are $6, $7, $8, or even $9 per gallon. These prices affect everyone who doesn’t drive an expensive electric car.

Thankfully, I don’t have to drive to work anymore as I work from home, but I realize that most people don’t have that luxury. There are some who spend all day driving such as truck operator and police officers who are on patrol. I can’t imagine how much they have to spend on gas in a week or month.

But gas prices have gotten so bad thanks to Joe Biden that people’s lives may literally be in danger. In one Michigan county, they have just announced that they are going to be forced to limit 911 calls because the department has already surpassed their budgeted fuel expenses.

According to The Daily Wire,

“We have exhausted what funds were budgeted for fuel with several months to go before the budget reset,” the sheriff’s office explained.

Sheriff Michael Main said that in order to manage the budget shortfall, deputies were going to be forced to change the way they operated — particularly how they responded to 911 calls.

“I have instructed the deputies to attempt to manage whatever calls are acceptable over the phone,” Main said, clarifying that if deputies believed a situation required them to handle the situation on scene they would still do that. “This would be non-in-progress calls, non-life-threatening calls, calls that do not require evidence collection or documentation.”

“I want to assure the community that safety is our primary goal, and we will continue to respond to those types of calls,” Main added, noting that regular patrols would continue despite the budget issue.
