Benjamin Franklin is attributed with a saying which rings true for us today.

“Without freedom of thought, there can be no such thing as wisdom; and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech; which is the right of every man as far as by it he does not hurt or control the right of another; and this is the only check it ought to suffer and the only bounds it ought to know…. Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freedom of speech, a thing terrible to traitors.”

Well, my friends, there is someone who is trying to overthrow the liberty of our nation by subduing our freedom of speech.

“I make a special appeal to social media companies and media outlets – please deal with the misinformation and disinformation that’s on your shows. It has to stop.”

Well, it looks like DirecTV was more than happy to follow the dictator’s wishes because they immediately silenced one of the Biden regime’s opposing media

Bloomberg reported,

DirecTV, one of the largest U.S. pay-TV providers, plans to drop One America News Network, dealing a major blow to the conservative channel that’s been criticized for spreading misinformation and had a loyal fan in former President Donald Trump.

The satellite-TV provider has notified OAN’s owner, Herring Networks Inc., that it plans to stop carrying the company’s two channels when their contract expires. Herring Networks also owns AWE, a lifestyle channel that stands for “A Wealth of Entertainment.”

“We informed Herring Networks that, following a routine internal review, we do not plan to enter into a new contract when our current agreement expires,” the company said in an emailed statement to Bloomberg News.

I mean, if you ask me, this sounds just like what communist and dictatorship countries do. They try and silence all dissenting opinions. One thing that I’ve always heard and which seems true is something along the lines of, “To know who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”
