It’s strange to think that it was nearly two and a half years ago that Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously “committed suicide”.

We still don’t know the truth of what happened that day and it is likely that we never will. When they disable the video camera on this high-profile man and then leave the room, of course, something bad is going to happen.

At the same time it is disturbing that so many of his victims will not get their justice in this matter, at least not in this lifetime. Epstein ultimately will not escape the justice that comes from God Almighty.

However, there may be a degree of solace if Ghislaine Maxwell is convicted. I know it’s not the same, but she played just as important of a role in this scandal as Epstein ever did.

The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell has been going on for a couple of months now and it’s looking like it will be over this week as each side presents their closing arguments.

But there is some great information that is coming out of all of this as well. According to a legal source who is connected with the Maxwell case, if Maxwell is found guilty of her charges, she is planning to start naming names in order to try and get herself a reduced sentence.

I’m cautiously optimistic about that though because even if she gets a reduced sentence, it’s going to have to be reduced enough so that she doesn’t die in prison. For instance, if she is given the maximum of 70 years and they say that they’ll knock off 30 years from her sentence for cooperating, then that won’t really do any good. It’s like the difference between having a 500-year sentence or a 100-year sentence. In the end, you’re going to die in prison.

Maxwell is 59 years old so if they don’t reduce her sentence tremendously, then I don’t think she’ll cooperate and start naming names. That is, unless she has that mindset of “If I’m going down, you’re going down with me.” And if that is the mentality that she has, she’d better be put on “suicide watch” because we could end up seeing another Jeffrey Epstein incident.
