Mark Meadows Responds After Being Referred to DOJ for Criminal Charges from Jan 6 Committee (VIDEO)
The radical left and the radicalized RINOs on the January 6 Committee have started this whole conspiracy theorist society in order to try and fabricate another Russian hoax-like collection of manufactured evidence in order to try and make it appear as though President Trump instigated some sort of coup attempt to take over our government.
This really is one of the dumbest things that I’ve ever seen them do. They already impeached him for it, and that failed. He’s already been investigated over it and that didn’t turn up anything different. But with the liberals being unhappy about the results, they decided that they’ll create another scenario in which they can say that he did do what they want him to have done.
They’ve including everyone in along with this as well as “conspirators” such as former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
This week, the Committee announced that they are referring Meadows to the Department of Justice for prosecution for criminal contempt for refusing to show up and talk to this sideshow full of clowns.
Meadows said that the referral was not about him or making the Capital safer and that it was about “Donald Trump and about actually going after him once again, continuing to go after Donald Trump.”
“And when we look at the real results of this investigation, it is not really — the foundation is not based on a legislative purpose,” he continued. “Listen, they want to talk about the part that fits their narrative and what we do know in one of the things that is coming out more and more clearly each and every day is is that everyone condemned what happened in terms of the breach of security on the Capitol on January 6th.”
Hannity asked Meadows what he will do about this. Meadows had this to say about the whole thing:
“Well, I mean, at this point — at this point, Sean, you know, it will be turned over to the hands of DOJ. I can say this: that when you look at the criminal component of this, the intent, there’s never been an intent on my part. I’ve tried to share non-privileged information.
But truly, the executive privilege that Donald Trump has claimed is his to waive. It’s not mine to waive. It’s not Congress’s to waive.
And that’s why we filed the lawsuit to hopefully get the courts to weigh in. Hopefully, they’ll weigh in.”
