The mayor of the most crime-infested city (Chicago) in the country, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is acting is unflinching Democrat fashion and blaming everyone but herself for the crime in the city.

Fox Business reported,

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed retailers for not making safety a priority amid a string of smash-and-grab thefts at retail stores in recent months.

“We still have retailers that won’t institute plans like having security officers in their stores, making sure that they’ve got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night, chaining high-end bags. These purses can be something that is attracting a lot of organized retail theft units,” Lightfoot said Monday.

Rob Karr, the president and CEO of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association, said Chicago businesses need the “fingerprinting among leadership to stop.”

Groups of looters in masks have stormed stores in orchestrated plots to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise in downtown Chicago and the city’s suburbs.

Do you mean to tell me that this bimbo is so brazen that she is actually blaming retailers for the crime? What the literal you-know-what?!

She blames them for not locking up their stuff enough. It’s locked up! If this bimbo would deter crime instead of enabling it, maybe this wouldn’t happen. And what are the security guards supposed to do? They’re not allowed to do anything to criminals except maybe call the police who won’t respond.

What makes her think that they even have the money to hire these security guards? Many of these businesses are probably still trying to recover from her tyranny during the pandemic. But Lori Lightfoot blames them for not doing enough? Go look in the freaking mirror!

This is the epitome of liberal logic. It just doesn’t work.
