Republicans Vote to Strip RINO Liz Cheney of Her Title
If anyone in Congress has proven themselves to be a RINO, it’s Representative Liz Cheney.
Liz Cheney has been against President Trump while he was still in the White House and continues to be against him even today.
She bought into all of the liberal propaganda hook, line, and sinker and truly believes that he instigated an attack on the Capitol that day in January.
She even voted to impeach him for the January 6th incident and said, “The President of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the President.”
Cheney wasn’t the only RINO who voted for this, but she stands out the most since she was Chair of the Republican Party. She has since been stripped of that role and Rep. Elise Stefanik, who is much more deserving, now fills that role.
She was also appointed to the January 6th Commission to further investigate the events that happened at the Capitol. She was one of two Republicans on that committee, the other being another RINO, Adam Kinzinger.
But what do Cheney’s constituents think of her in Wyoming? Well, now we know. The Wyoming Republican Party actually voted this week to stop recognizing Liz Cheney as a member of the Republican Party.
The 31-29 vote Saturday in Buffalo, Wyoming, by the state party central committee followed votes by local GOP officials in about one-third of Wyoming’s 23 counties to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican.
In February, the Wyoming GOP central committee voted overwhelmingly to censure Cheney, Wyoming’s lone U.S. representative, for voting to impeach Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Cheney has described her vote to impeach Trump as an act of conscience in defense of the Constitution. Trump “incited the mob” and “lit the flame” of that day’s events, Cheney said after the attack.
It’s “laughable” for anybody to suggest Cheney isn’t a “conservative Republican,” Cheney spokesman Jeremy Adler said by text message Monday.
She’s getting what she deserves little by little. Cheney is also up for reelection in 2022 and will be running against Harriet Hageman who has been endorsed by President Trump. If Cheney has any sense about her, she’d just not run this next go-around.
