Exactly two years ago, we were dealing with a Justin Trudeau controversy that reared its head right before his election.

Today, we’re faced with that same thing once again.

Two years ago, an old photo of Justin Trudeau resurfaced of him dressed up in a “blackface” get up.

You know how much liberals hate black face and “cultural appropriation”.

There is a huge problem with hypocrisy and honesty when it comes to Trudeau’s brownface.

First of all, he is the epitome of snowflake liberalism and how the liberals constantly condemn every single conservative who has ever put on a blackface costume regardless of how long ago it was.

If the left really cared, they would oust Trudeau much as they did Megyn Kelly a couple of years ago when she talked about blackface.

According to CBC News,

It is almost too obvious now to point out the rank hypocrisy of the Trudeau brand: one that has zero tolerance for inappropriate touching, except for his own; one that preaches respect for Indigenous Canadians, except when you can get a cheap laugh at a Liberal fundraiser. 

One that claims to run government differently, but uses the same old tactics to get its way; one that lectures about standing up to oppression, except oppression in certain ridings. 

One that insists it is working in the interests of the average Canadian, but tries to curry favour with the above-average Canadian in private. One that renounces the politics of fear and division, except when the politics of fear and division can be politically advantageous.  

And one that has spent its entire political existence proselytizing about tolerance, inclusivity, sensitivity and acceptance, all the while knowing — and hiding — a past that includes multiple instances of dressing up in blackface.

She was then forced to apologize for having an opinion that others thought was wrong.

But her apology ultimately wasn’t enough and she was forced off the air.

According to The Daily Wire,

And yet, all things are not equal. This blackface stuff is irrelevant and un-racist only by the objective standard of reasonable, sincere people. That is to say, it is relevant and certainly racist by the absurd standard of unreasonable and insincere people like Justin Trudeau.

Leftists deserve to be held to their own standards for a change. What makes Trudeau’s blackface scandalous is not that it is bigoted, but that it directly contradicts his carefully curated brand as a racially enlightened progressive. This is a hypocrisy scandal, not a racism scandal. And on that level, he ought to be raked over the coals.

Consider the leftist argument against men like Mark Sanford and Larry Craig. They say that they — the leftists — don’t much care if a man has an affair in his personal life, or solicits gay sex in a restroom, but it’s an outrage in the case of conservative Republicans because of their “family values” brand.

These Republicans are the very people — so the argument goes — who trumpet their Christian virtue and attack others for falling short in that regard. It is the height of hypocrisy for them, of all people, to be doing the toe-tap in a bathroom stall. I don’t necessarily disagree with this logic.

And it’s this exact logic that should be applied to leftist public figures who have racially insensitive skeletons in their closets. In the name of consistency, and for the sake of punishing hypocrisy, they ought to be treated exactly as they would treat anyone else who has done the same thing.

Now, a new photo surfaced, seemingly from that same event, but maybe not. Maybe he just had a habit of going around dressing up in black face.

It’s not going to have any effect on the outcome of the election. People hate him and don’t want him in office, but they know how to rig elections. If black face didn’t stop him the first time, it won’t stop him this time.
