30,000+ Republicans Polled…Here’s Who They Want As Their Candidate in 2024
It’s not unwise for President Trump to be as involved as he currently is in the GOP right now. This is something that we’ve honestly needed for a long time now.
I mean really, just think about it. Prior to President Trump, who was the “go-to” Republican who was working hard to get other Republicans into Congress? There wasn’t anyone, especially when Democrats were in the White House.
President Trump has become the face of the Republican party, and the work that he is doing is going to go a long ways in redeeming this country. But the question remains, is this who the Republican voters want for their candidate in the next election in 2024?
Well, a poll was conducted and we have our answer.
Two candidates stood our by-and-large over everyone else and you probably already know who those two are: President Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
67% of Republicans polled said they want President Trump back in office. The next highest candidate, Gov. DeSantis came in with 17%. Everyone else came behind them with 3% or less each.
Hilariously, former Vice President Mike Pence received a whopping 0%.
Others on the list are Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley each with 3%, Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Ted Cruz with 2%, and Sen. Tim Scott, Gov. Kristi Noem, Sen. Tom Cotton, and Sen. Josh Hawley each with 1%.
I think what we’re going to see in the next primary race is something that is going to be completely different than anything else that we’ve seen in the past. At this point, I do not see Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, or many other Republicans running against President Trump, let alone bad-mouthing him as they typically do during primaries in order to get into the White House. I think doing that would completely discredit the party as a whole and make it harder for Republicans to win.
