Attorney General Merrick Garland recently made some remarks addressing voting rights, but really he was wanting to target the audit that’s happening in Arizona.

Democrats know what’s up and they’re going to have to brace for what’s about to come. Merrick Garland wanted to make the pre-emptive declaration that they’re going to scrutinize the process by which they conducted the audit.

“We are scrutinizing new laws that seek to curb voter access, and where we see violations, we will not hesitate to act.

We are also scrutinizing current laws and practices in order to determine whether they discriminate against Black voters and other voters of color. Particularly concerning in this regard are several studies showing that, in some jurisdictions, nonwhite voters must wait in line substantially longer than white voters to cast their ballots.

We will apply the same scrutiny to post-election audits, to ensure they abide by federal statutory requirements to protect election records and avoid the intimidation of voters.

In that regard, we will publish guidance explaining the civil and criminal statutes that apply to post-election audits.

And we will likewise publish guidance with respect to early voting and voting by mail…”

One Arizona lawmaker is not intimidated by Mighty Mouth. Wendy Rogers, an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump said:

This is very telling if you pay attention to what he’s said. There is no mention of really scrutinizing the results, only the process.

Now, if what they discovered was contrary to the mainstream narrative, wouldn’t you want to scrutinize what happened in both the election and the audits to make sure that everything was legitimate? That would be the logical thing to do.

It’s insane how the Democrats have shifted the narrative. In 2016, the election was supposedly rigged so that President Trump could win, but now that the shoe is on the other foot, they want to claim that this was the most secure election in history.
