Wealthy Socialist AOC Not Socialist Enough to Help Own Grandmother, So Conservatives Help Instead
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should be ashamed of herself for what she’s doing.
AOC tried using her own grandmother as a political tool to…well, really do nothing except to bad mouth Republicans and President Trump.
Just over a week ago, my abuela fell ill. I went to Puerto Rico to see her- my 1st time in a year+ bc of COVID.
This is her home. Hurricane María relief hasn’t arrived. Trump blocked relief $ for PR.
People are being forced to flee ancestral homes, & developers are taking them.

Meanwhile, she is driving a new Tesla 3, earns nearly $200,000 per year, and has two apartments
Thankfully, there are people who actually care and Matt Walsh is one of them. He organized a GoFund Me to help AOC’s grandmother since she obviously wasn’t going to do anything about it.
In less than 4 hours, they had already raised $50,000 to help AOC’s grandmother. Within 24 hours, they hit $100,000.
Here’s what Walsh wrote on the GoFund Me page,
On June 2nd, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reported to Twitter that her dear abuela has fallen ill and continues to live in squalid conditions since her home was ravaged by Hurricane María. She is looking into moving her abuela into a senior home. You can go to website to learn more.
One cannot be certain of the cost to repair grandma’s house, but surely most of the work could be completed for the price of AOC’s shiny Tesla Model 3.
As AOC pointed out to us, we “don’t even have a concept for the role that [incredibly successful children of two American citizens…] play in their families,” but clearly caring for their own grandparent isn’t part of it.
Says the congresswoman, “…instead of only caring for [my own grandmother] & letting others suffer, I’m calling attention to the systemic injustices…”
No, seriously. She really said that.
Sadly, virtue-signaling isn’t going to fix abuela’s roof. So we are.
Let’s all kick in to help save AOC’s abuela’s ancestral home. Any amount is appreciated, but the cost of a monthly lease payment on that Tesla is around $499…
All proceeds will be donated to abuela, if she will accept them.
Can I just say that this is an example of how the community can help their own. Can you imagine how much more could be done if the government wasn’t stealing a huge chunk of our hard-earned money?
UPDATE: “Someone” in the family said that they wouldn’t accept the money. I wonder which evil witch this could have been?
