Every so often I come across a story that I feel deserves the title of “Strangest Thing I’ve Heard In A While”. This is another one of those times.

A woman in Missouri was recently charged with smuggling a gun into a county jail.

She had already been placed under arrest for gun and drug charges, but apparently she was able to conceal a small gun and bring it into the jail.

How did she do it you ask? Well, how else does one smuggle something like that even after undergoing a pat down? She had it hidden inside of her vagina.

“During questioning at the jail, Wilhite admitted possessing the firearm, but claimed ‘she was only holding it for another female detainee.’ But fellow inmates in Wilhite’s housing unit ‘all stated Amy was in possession of the firearm,’” an investigator reported,” the outlet wrote. “In addition to copping to the gun smuggling charge, Wilhite pleaded guilty on April 19 to the felony drug and weapons counts for which she was originally arrested. She was ordered to serve five years on each conviction, with the sentences to run concurrently with the 10-year prison term.”

There is so much that could be said about this, but maybe it’s better that I do not say too much.

The gun was one of those really small .22 caliber revolvers that holds 5 bullets.

Investigators ended up removing the weapon from the woman’s vagina. She was then sentenced to 10 years in prison for this stupid little stunt.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first instance of a woman smuggling a firearm in with her vagina. In 2013, an Oklahoma woman did it and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

In 2014, another woman had done the same with a small revolver.

In 2018, a woman did it as well. This seems to be an ongoing problem. I wouldn’t dare do something like this if I were a woman. Guns are not sanitary, nor is it safe to stick a loaded weapon inside your body.
