RACIST “Christian” Prayer Book Being Sold at Target…’Dear God, Please Help Me Hate White People…’
Our country is becoming more and not less racist.
There is a book that’s currently being sold at places like Target that is perpetuating the idea of racism.
The thing is it’s not perpetuating white people could be racist, it’s pushing the idea of black people being racist against white people. What’s even more disturbing is that this book is being sold, in a sense, as a Christian devotional book.
While I personally wouldn’t consider a Christian cook because of the authors some of whom I know very well to be very liberal and anti-Christian in fact, Amazon and target do not follow my definitions of Christian nor do they follow the biblical definition.
In this book that’s being sold as a prayer book, one of the authors begs God to help her to hate white people. She literally says this!
“Dear God, Please help me to hate White people. Or at least to want to hate them. At least, I want to stop caring about them individually and collectively. I want to stop caring about their misguided, racist souls, to stop believing that they can be better, and they can stop being racist.”
“My prayer is that you would help me to hate the other White people – you know, the nice ones. The Fox News-loving, Trump-supporting voters who “don’t see color”.
I don’t know what it is, but black people have this EXTREMELY distorted perception of how white people are, and you know other issue is part of that problem? The fact that they see us as “white people” instead of individuals. They are being racist!
She goes on,
“Lord, if it be your will, harden my heart. Stop me from striving to see the best in people. Stop me from being hopeful that White people can do and be better. Let me imagine them instead as white-hooded robes standing in front of burning crosses.”
And if you think there is some context missing from these statements…there isn’t. Here is the entire thing in the photos below.
On Saturday, one of the members of my church sent me these images of a “devotional” she found in Target. This kind of thinking is a direct result of CRT and is completely anti-biblical. I shared the first page on Saturday but let me now share the whole thing for context: pic.twitter.com/oiRxHQXY53
