Our country is a joke. We are literally becoming something between a mix of The Hunger Games and Idiocracy.

I am completely mind-blown about the latest Senate approval for a member of Biden’s cabinet. I honestly thought that this one would get shot down, but nope, quite the opposite happened, and in fact – two Republicans voted with the Democrats to approve Dr. Rachel Levine.

I was VERY curious as to who the two Republicans were that voted for this guy and when I found out, well, I can’t say it surprised me. They were two RINOs – Susan Collins from Maine and Lisa Murkowski from Alaska.

Remember, this is the guy who thinks that he is a woman. Yet, here we are putting him in charge of health, which includes mental health.

This is also the guy who refused to answer Senator Rand Paul’s question about hormone blockers for 3-year-olds who are claiming that they’re a different gender.

Dr. Levine completely avoided answering the question:

“Well, Senator thank you for your interest in this question. Transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field with robust research and standards of care that have been developed. And if I am fortunate enough to be confirmed as the Assistant Secretary of Health, I will look forward to working with you and your office and coming to your office and discussing the particulars of the standards of care for transgender medicine.”

Sen. Paul gave him another opportunity to answer the question when he said,

“What I’m alarmed at is that you’re not willing to say absolutely minors shouldn’t be making decisions to amputate their breast or to amputate their genitalia. For most of our history, we have believed that minors don’t have full rights and that parents need to be involved, so I’m alarmed that you won’t say with certainty that minors should not have the ability to make the decision to take hormones that will affect them for the rest of their life. Will you make a more firm decision on whether or not minors should be involved in these decisions?“

Of course, Levine gave another non-answer:

“Senator, transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field. And if confirmed to the position of Assistant Secretary of Health, I would certainly be pleased to come to your office and talk with you and your staff about the standards of care and the complexity of this field.”

Sen. Rand Paul to Dr. Rachel Levine:

We are becoming the laughing stock of the world. Countries are looking at us and laughing at how divided and ridiculous we have become. An overweight man who thinks he’s a woman is in partly in charge of the Health Department…what a crock!
