Proposed California Bill Would Strip Police Officers of Constitutional Rights
California is continuing on with its mission to destroy the rights of Americans, even violating the U.S. Constitution.
A bill was introduced by Ash Kalra who is a member of the California State Assembly in San Jose that would prevent the freedom of religion and violate First Amendment.
This bill, known as the California Law Enforcement Accountability Reform Act (CLEAR Act) would violate the constitutional freedoms that all Americans have, including police officers, by stripping them of their right to practice their religion or express their freedom of speech.
This is done under the guise of prohibiting “hate speech”, but how they define hate speech is atrocious.
The bill defines hate speech as “as advocating or supporting the denial of constitutional rights of, the genocide of, or violence towards, any group of persons based upon race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.”
Pacific Justice Institute Senior Staff Attorney Matthew McReynolds sees the potential threat from this bill. “Under the guise of addressing police gangs, the bill at the same time launches an inexplicable, unwarranted, and unprecedented attack on peaceable, conscientious officers who happen to hold conservative political and religious views,” wrote Reynolds. “Indeed, this is one of the most undisguised and appalling attempts we have ever seen, in more than 20 years of monitoring such legislation, on the freedom of association and freedom to choose minority viewpoints.”
So essentially what they’re proposing is banning police officers who have expressed either religious views or conservative views.
So what are we to expect then? Aren’t the liberals the one screaming to defund the police? Who would be left on the police force if we get rid of all Christians and conservatives?
This is a recipe for disaster and I say bring it on. Let all the Christians and conservatives leave California behind and leave them to their own demise.
