Well, the impeachment charade is over, now we can get back to Congress leaving President Trump alone, right?

Not a chance. The Democrats need something to do. I mean, you don’t expect them to actually try and get something done to make America a better place, do you?

What would the Democratic party be without their boogeyman to attack?

Now, Nancy Pelosi is calling for a commission to be formed much like the one that was formed to investigate 9/11. The purpose of this commission would be to investigate what happened on January 6 during the riot at the Capitol.

Pelosi wrote,

To protect our security, our security, our security, our next step will be to establish an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission to “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021 domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex… and relating to the interference with the peaceful transfer of power, including facts and causes relating to the preparedness and response of the United States Capitol Police and other Federal, State, and local law enforcement in the National Capitol Region.”

Then she went on to hail George Washington who was a slave owner for 56 years as well as Abraham Lincoln who only freed the slaves to save the Union.

“As we go forward, we must be worthy of the courage and wisdom of the patriarch of our country, George Washington, and of the savior of our country, Abraham Lincoln.”

Honestly, if this commission was to be properly assembled and not filled with Trump-hating scumbags, then I could see this as being a good thing because it would further serve to vindicate President Trump, and it would show that it wasn’t just Trump supporters who were involved in the riot. It would show that Antifa had something to do with this orchestrated attack as well and that it could no longer be denied.
