Joe Biden Does Something No Other President in History Has Done
Supreme Leader Joe Biden has already done irrevocable harm in just the first week of his administration.
In just the first 7 days, Biden has signed a record-shattering 37 executive orders. This is more than any other president in the history of the United States has issued within the first 100 days, and he did it in one single week.
This is the act of a dictator who is hell-bent on getting his way, which should come as no surprise seeing that he is, after all, a Democrat.
One order, in particular, is an absolute joke. It bans the term, “China Virus”.
CBS reported, “The Biden executive order is also expected to direct federal agencies like the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to examine whether there are xenophobic references like “China virus” in any existing policies, directives or government websites published by the Trump administration.”
Included in that slew of executive orders, he signed another four executive orders on Tuesday all dealing with “racial equity”. One of these orders is dealing with not renewing private prison contracts.
In the order, Biden states:
“More than two million people are currently incarcerated in the United States, including a disproportionate number of people of color. There is broad consensus that our current system of mass incarceration imposes significant costs and hardships on our society and communities and does not make us safer. To decrease incarceration levels, we must reduce profit-based incentives to incarcerate by phasing out the Federal Government’s reliance on privately operated criminal detention facilities.”
So I’m actually a bid divided on this policy. I agree that there shouldn’t be any sort of profit system in place where increased incarcerations lead to more profit. We shouldn’t be profiting off of people being in prison in this sense. However, like Democrats do, they never stop and question why it is that there are more people of color in prison and actually address that problem. They just want to claim that it’s because white people are racist and just throwing them in prison because of it.
I definitely disagree though that mass incarceration doesn’t make us safer. If it takes criminals off of the street then it does make us safer in some regard.
But I don’t think prison is the answer because I still view this as man-stealing and isn’t much different than slavery. It is, in fact, a modern form of acceptable slavery in the eyes of a secular society.
