Mitch McConnell has become a nasty hemorrhoid in the Republican Party.

The thing that Republicans in Congress have often accused the Democrats of doing all summer long, Mitch McConnell is now doing himself.

He is now the one holding Americans hostage by trying to affix issues that have nothing to do with sending money to Americans to the stimulus boost bill.

The stimulus boost is a stand-alone bill. There is nothing attached to it, just a change of numbers and he refused to even vote on it.

But even worse than that, McConnell is trying to convince Senator Josh Hawley not to challenge the electoral votes. He even scheduled a conference call to press Sen. Hawley on why he’s challenging.

Well, guess what? Wasn’t giving him the time of day.

According to CNN,

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday held a conference call with the Senate GOP conference in which he pressed Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley to explain the rationale behind his plans to object to the Electoral College vote, according to a source directly familiar with the call.

Hawley did not respond to multiple questions from McConnell, including when asked to lay out his plan to object to the Electoral College vote — and senators soon recognized he wasn’t actually on the call. Politico was the first to report the news of the call that an official told CNN occurred earlier Thursday.

A second source familiar with the call told CNN that McConnell made it clear to his members on Thursday that he is giving them room to vote their conscience on such objections.

What on earth is Mitch McConnell thinking? He is NOT making himself look very good at all right now. He claims that he’s worried about Republicans making the party look bad or actually hurting the party by doing something like this, but is he really that out of touch with America? Most Republicans want the fight. The fight that McConnell wants no part of at all.

McConnell has already accepted Joe Biden as the next president and doesn’t care about the evidence of fraud everywhere.
