WATCH: Democrat Senator Admits Pelosi and House Dems Purposely Blocked COVID Relief for Americans
From the time the coronavirus pandemic started back in January or February, Americans have suffered greatly both with their health and with their wallets.
Many people have lost their livelihoods as a result of the tyrannical orders from some of the state governors.
Finally, in the summer, there was a bill that was passed that gave Americans $1,200 per person and $500 per dependent. This helped to some degree, but it was only one payment and people can’t live on that amount of money for very long.
Since then, the Senate and the House of Representatives have been trying to come up with a bill that would give people another round of checks. But to this date, at least six months later, we’ve still not seen anything.
The big problem has been that Nasty Nancy Pelosi has been holding up the process by not being willing to negotiate and take serious the negotiation process in order to give Americans another round of checks.
Even Jake Tapper from CNN has confronted Pelosi on her stubbornness and unwillingness to make a real deal.
Tapper spoke to former Presidential candidate and Senator Bernie Sanders and he actually admitted that the Democrats have blocked COVID relief.
Townhall reported,
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) agreed with CNN host Jake Tapper on Monday when he said Democrats, particularly Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), were the ones who continually blocked meaningful COVID-19 relief bills.
“You talked about that 1.8 trillion dollar bill that the White House, Steve Mnuchin, the Treasury Secretary, was working on with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The Democrats walked away from that bill,” Tapper said.
“That’s right!” Sanders interjected.
“Because [Democrats] wanted 2.2 trillion and they walked away from 1.8 trillion. Was that a mistake?” Tapper asked.
“That’s what I’m saying! Exactly what I’m saying! Here was a proposal, much, much larger. Democrats said, no, not good enough and now we are prepared to accept a proposal which has, I think, $350 billion in new money and which has, we believe, I believe to the best of my knowledge, corporate immunity language as well.

Of course, he wouldn’t say this months ago before the election, that would only increase the odds of President Trump winning and more Democrats being kicked out of Congress.
