Trump Ally Makes Stunning Reversal, Calls For Evidence
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) has been a stalwart supporter of President Trump’s from day one, which makes some comments he made recently so surprising.
Cotton, like all of us, wants to see the evidence the Trump campaign has for voter fraud, but now he is telling the campaign to put up or shut up.
We Want to See It
The case to be made for voter fraud is pretty complex, but the campaign does need to get into court before it can make progress… and this is something that has been a challenge for the Trump campaign to this point.
The campaign regularly comes up against Democrat-appointed judges who not only toss out the cases without even being heard, but they are also lecturing the campaign for daring to challenge the integrity of the election.
As such, the campaign has not really had its day in court, which means no evidence has really been presented as of yet.
Cotton seems to be running out of patience, stating, “I think where we are is to the point that we need the evidence to be adduced in court. Rudy Giuliani and the president’s lawyers have multiple lawsuits filed around the country. We’re to the point, though, where this is time not for politicians or for press conferences. That was during the election. This is a time for evidence in court.”
Cotton added, “So you still have some recounts going on, as we heard, in Wisconsin, and potentially another recount in Georgia. But this will be decided in the end on the law and the facts.”
We Might See It Soon
Believe me, I understand Cotton’s frustration and actually share it, but the only alternative the Trump campaign had to this point would have been to show its hand by uploading its evidence online for all to see, and they don’t seem ready to do that just yet.
If push comes to shove, that would probably be the last resort to get more public support behind the case, that is if the media would cover it, which is legitimately in question with our new state-run media we have that is working for the Democrat party.
A recent court ruling, however, may not even need it to come to that. A Nevada judge recently ruled that the campaign can present its evidence. Now, this is about far more than just the electoral voters Nevada holds but more about setting a precedent to let more dominoes fall in the future.
