CEO David Barrett of the company Expensify sent an email to the 10 million customers that the company was telling them who they need to vote for and what may happen if they don’t.

Barrett said that if they don’t vote for Joe Biden in the election that they may face a civil war under President Trump.

This sort of rhetoric is so dumb. They’ve been saying things like this the entire time, even before he was elected. They claimed that we would be at war with other countries, including North Korea and as of today, President Trump has not started any wars like every other president in recent history has before him.

In fact, he’s been installing peace in the Middle East with the Arab countries that have joined the pact with Israel which has actually won him several Nobel Peace Prize nominations.

In the very long email, Barrett said this,

I know you don’t want to hear this from me. And I guarantee I don’t want to say it. But we are facing an unprecedented attack on the foundations of democracy itself. If you are a US citizen, anything less than a vote for Biden is a vote against democracy.

That’s right, I’m saying a vote for Trump, a vote for a third-party candidate, or simply not voting at all – they’re all the same, and they all mean:

“I care more about my favorite issue than democracy. I believe Trump winning is more important than democracy. I am comfortable standing aside and allowing democracy to be methodically dismantled, in plain sight.”

He’s right about one thing, people don’t want to hear that from him. Businesses need to be businesses and stop meddling in politics. The political system has become so extremely corrupt that if President Trump doesn’t win this election, our country stands no chance at reaching anything resembling real democracy in our lifetime.
