Trump Senior Campaign Manager Unloads on Chris Wallace on Debate Moderation
The Senior Campaign Advisor for President Trump, Steve Cortes recently spoke with Chris Wallace on Fox News and unleashed fury on Wallace for his poor performance as the moderator during the recent presidential debate.
They were discussing the President and his contracting the coronavirus as well and the others who have contracted it as well.
He then started criticizing the Rose Garden even that was held in included many of the people who have now tested positive for the virus including, Kellyanne Conway, Chris Christie, Senator Thom Tillis and Senator Mike Lee, and now as of Monday morning, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has tested positive for it.
Wallace began attacking Cortes, so Cortes threw it right back at him.
CORTES: “Chris, the way you’re starting to harang me now, actually reminds me of what you did to the president during that debate on Tuesday night.”
WALLACE: “Oh, yeah—I harangued him!” Wallace whined.
CORTES: “No, he had to debate not only Joe Biden, but he had to debate you as well. You were not a neutral debate moderator then. I don’t mind tough questions—okay? I welcome reasonably tough questions, but what I don’t think is okay, is for you to become the effective opposition to the President! Everyone there was tested in the crowd. They were distanced from each other. People can make reasonable decisions for themselves!”
WALLACE: “No, actually they can’t. There are rules and they will be kicked out next time!”
If you saw the debate, then you know how bad it was for Wallace and he received a lot of flack about it.
It amazes me that Chris Wallace is even on Fox News because he is actually a registered Democrat.
Wallace, a registered Democrat, blamed President Trump’s interruptions for his horrible partisan behavior, “Let me simply say, the president interrupted me and the vice president 145 times, so I object to saying I harangued the president.
Take a look at the clip below:
