The 4Chan community is insane. The website has been the host to the good, the bad, and the ugly.

But on multiple occasions, they have been able to come together to solve crimes when the police could not.

What’s even more amazing about it is that they were able to identify the man within just hours.

In case you don’t know what happened, an Antifa/Black Lives Matter terrorist shot and killed a member of the pro-Trump group Patriot Prayer in Portland, then fled the scene.

Within minutes of the shooting, 4Chan users got to work, and within hours… they had a name.

The message board quickly claimed that the shooter is 48 year old snowboard instructor, Michael Reinoehl.

One of the clues that helped piece the puzzle together was an interview that the Nationalist Review did with the man, “the 48-year-old ‘professional snowboarder’ was previously featured on a Bloomberg promo for the riots where he described himself as part of the rioter’s security apparatus. Reinoehl touted his military experience and described events that led up to him receiving a bullet grazing on his arm. In the video, a neck tattoo identical to the shooter’s own tattoo is seen on his neck.”

This identified that he had a tattoo on his neck, and a wound on his elbow.
