BREAKING: Police Make Multiple Arrests in Murder of Retired Police Chief David Dorn
It is an absolute travesty when an innocent person gets killed. By now, I’m sure most of you have heard the news of David Dorn, the retired police captain in St. Louis who was murdered last week.
Dorn was a 77-year-old man who was defending his friend’s store from being looted when he was gunned down by the looters.
Then just to show you how callused people are today, someone videoed him dying and put it on Facebook Live.
We now have reports that two of the low life scumbags involved in the murder have been arrested.
KMOV reported,
A man has been charged with the murder of retired Captain David Dorn.
Officials said 24-year-old Stephan Cannon was charged with first-degree murder for the death of Dorn. The shooting happened at Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry on June 2 after a night of looting and violent rioting in St. Louis City.
Police said Dorn was found shot multiple times.
“[Dorn] was murdered by looters at a pawnshop. He was the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s a citizen or officer,” the Ethical Society of Police of St. Louis wrote after the murder.
Cannon was also charged with robbery, burglary, armed criminal action and felon in possession of a firearm.
Police said Cannon admitted he cut his hair to change his appearance after seeing surveillance video released by police.
The other individual arrested is 27-year-old Jimmie Robinson, but as of right now, he is not being charged with the murder of David Dorn. Instead, he is being charged with burglary, armed criminal action and stealing. Right now, only Stephan Cannon is being charged with the first-degree murder of David Dorn.
I believe that all of the individuals involved will eventually be captured given that two were already caught. Plus, these guys don’t look like they would hardened enough criminals to not snitch.
