Dr. Stephen Smith is one of the top infectious disease specialists in the country and he recently shared some very encouraging news with Laura Ingraham on Fox News.

He told Laura that he believes that based on what he’s seeing in regards to treatment using a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, that we can now see a light at the end of the tunnel and a coming end to this crisis.

Dr. Stephen Smith said,

“More importantly, no person who has received five days or more of the hydroxychloroquine-azithro combination has been intubated. The chance of that occurring by chance according to my sons Lian and Hunter who did some stats for me are .000 something. It’s ridiculously low. It’s ridiculously low no matter how you look at it. We worry about selection bias in this situation, but I cannot think of a reason why. If all else is equal why people that received 5 days or more or even four days or more of this hydroxychloroquine-azithro regimen wouldn’t get intubated. In other words, if it didn’t work why would it just be the people that didn’t get nearly completed…nearly complete the regimen.”

“It’s a game-changer. An absolute game-changer. I think this data goes to really support the French data.”

“Laura, I think this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic.”

This is really great news unless you live somewhere like Michigan in which the idiot governor has banned treatment with hydroxychloroquine.

Some of the statistics that Dr. Smith also found was that out of a small study of 72 patients who tested positive with COVID-19, 21 of them were pre-diabetic, 34 of them were already diabetic, and the average BMI of those who were severely ill was 30.7.
