Bloomberg SLAMS Socialist Bernie Sanders About His Millionaire Status
Last night’s Democratic debate has to be one of the most heated debates that I’ve seen since the debates started.
If I were to be completely honest, it may be been the most heated debate since Donald Trump tore Hillary Clinton a new one back in 2016.
These debates aren’t helping Democrats at all. I think they’re doing the party more harm than good when they see how hateful they are towards one another. They just really have the ability to turn people off from the Democratic party completely, which is great for us conservatives!
One of the high points last night during the debate was when Michael Bloomberg called out Bernie Sanders for being a the biggest socialist candidate on stage while at the same time being a millionaire and owning three houses.
“What a wonderful country we have,” Bloomberg said. “The best known socialist happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What’d I miss here?”
“You’ll miss that I work in Washington, house one.” Sanders responded.
“That’s the first problem,” Bloomberg fired back.
“Live in Burlington, house two.” Sanders continued.
“That’s good,” replied Bloomberg.
“And like thousands of other Vermonters I do have a summer cap. Forgive me for that. Where is your home? Which tax haven do you have your home?” Sanders shot back.
“New York City, thank you very much,” said Bloomberg. “And I pay all my taxes.”

“I can’t speak for all billionaires, all I know is I’ve been very lucky, made a lot of money and I’m giving it all away to make this country better and a good chunk of it goes to the Democratic Party as well,” Bloomberg said.
“Have you earned too much?” Todd asked. “Has it been an obscene amount of money? Should you have earned that amount of money?”
“Yes, I worked very hard for it,” Bloomberg responded. “And I’m giving it away.”
Sanders responded by claiming that Bloomberg did not make all that money and that it was his workers who made him the money.
“I can’t think of a way that would make it easier for Donald Trump to get re-elected than by listening to this conversation,” Bloomberg responded. “This is ridiculous. We’re not going to throw out capitalism, we tried that, other countries tried that, it was called communism and it just didn’t work.”
